The Heart Behind EverLili

The Heart Behind EverLili

Some businesses begin with an idea.

EverLili began with a heart for people.

As a mother and daughter, we have always shared a love for helping others and a belief that some of life’s most meaningful moments deserve to be handled with tenderness, intention, and care. Over time, we began to recognize a need that went far beyond flowers or beautiful memorials.

Families experiencing loss are often asked to make some of life’s hardest decisions during one of their most vulnerable moments.

There are flowers to choose, people to contact, arrangements to make, documents to locate, services to plan, and countless details to manage, all while trying to process the reality that someone they love is no longer here.

And then something else happens.

The service ends.
The flowers begin to fade.
Friends and family return to their routines.

But grief does not end there.

That realization became an important part of the heart behind EverLili. We wanted to create something that could walk alongside families not only during the funeral or memorial, but before, during, and long after goodbye. Today, that purpose is reflected throughout EverLili, from personalized flowers and keepsakes to Celebration of Life gatherings, living memorials, grief resources, and thoughtful planning tools.

We Wanted Families to Feel Cared For, Not Overwhelmed

There is already so much to carry when someone you love is sick, nearing the end of life, or has passed away. We do not believe families should have to carry every logistical detail alone too.

EverLili was created to make those moments feel a little less overwhelming.

Sometimes that means creating flowers that actually feel like the person being honored.

Sometimes it means transforming a space into a Celebration of Life filled with their photographs, favorite colors, belongings, memories, and the details that made them who they were.

Sometimes it means helping someone find words for emotions they have not been able to express.

And sometimes it simply means being one less thing a family has to figure out.

Our goal has never been to make grief beautiful. Grief is difficult, personal, and often messy. Our goal is to bring beauty, care, and support into the middle of it.

As Scripture reminds us:

That verse has become especially meaningful to the heart of EverLili. It reminds us that even in seasons of tremendous loss, we are not abandoned.

Every Life Deserves to Feel Personal

We believe remembrance should tell a story.

A person’s life cannot be reduced to a generic arrangement, a photograph on a table, or a few hours gathered in a room.

They had favorite flowers.

Favorite colors.

Stories everyone in the family knows.

Songs that immediately make someone think of them.

Things they collected.

Traditions they started.

Inside jokes.

People they loved.

A life they lived.

That is why personalization matters so much to us. Our Final Wish section was created to give families clarity during a time that can feel overwhelming. By keeping important documents, contacts, financial information, personal wishes, and meaningful messages organized in one place, loved ones can spend less time searching for answers and more time being together. It is one more way EverLili helps families feel supported before, during, and after loss.

Whether we are designing a floral tribute, providing final wishes guidance, or helping create an entire Celebration of Life, we want families to look around and say:

“This feels like them.”

Every life has a story worth celebrating and a legacy worth remembering. That belief is one of the values at the center of EverLili.

Because Love Should Be Expressed Before Goodbye, Too

EverLili is also about changing the way we think about remembrance.

Why should we wait until someone is gone to gather everyone they love in one room and tell stories about how much they mean to us? Sometimes, we are so wrapped up in their illness, and that becomes how they are remembered at the end.

Living memorials give families an opportunity to celebrate someone while they are still here.

To say the beautiful things now.

To share the memories now.

To bring the flowers now.

To let someone see the room filled with people whose lives they touched.

There is something powerful about giving people the opportunity to experience their flowers while they can still smell them, hear the stories while they can still laugh at them, and receive the love while they can still feel it.

Support Shouldn't End After the Funeral

One of the biggest reasons we created EverLili is because grief continues long after everyone else has gone home.

There are birthdays.

Anniversaries.

Holidays.

First Mother’s Days and Father’s Days.

A favorite song playing unexpectedly.

An empty chair.

A phone number you still instinctively want to call.

Those moments matter too.

That is why our mission extends beyond memorial services. We want to create resources and support that meet people throughout the different seasons of grief, because there is no expiration date on missing someone.

Sometimes people need conversation.

Sometimes they need reflection.

Sometimes they need flowers at their door.

Sometimes they need a way to write the things they never had the chance to say.

And sometimes they simply need a reminder that they do not have to grieve alone.

Preparing Ahead Is Also an Act of Love

Through EverLili, we have also come to understand how much uncertainty families can face when someone passes without important information organized in advance.

Where is the life insurance policy?

Who needs to be contacted?

Where is the will?

What accounts exist?

What did they want for their funeral?

Were there things they wanted us to know?

Those questions can become an additional burden during an already emotional time.

That is why planning ahead matters and why we created EverLili Final Wish.

Leaving your wishes, important information, documents, contacts, and even personal messages organized for the people you love is not simply planning for death.

It is caring for your family.

It is saying:

“When this day comes, I do not want you to have to figure everything out alone.”

There is tremendous love in giving the people you leave behind clarity.

A Mother, A Daughter, and a Shared Purpose

At the center of EverLili are simply two women, a mother and daughter, who care deeply about helping families.

We believe compassion should come before everything.

We believe small details can have a big impact.

We believe people deserve to be remembered in ways that feel personal.

We believe families deserve support beyond the day of the service.

And above all, we believe serving people during some of the most tender moments of their lives is both a responsibility and a privilege. Those values continue to guide how EverLili serves families today.

There is another Scripture that beautifully captures the kind of heart we hope to bring into this work:

We cannot take grief away.

We cannot replace the person who is missing.

But we can help carry some of what comes with that loss.

We can take care of details.

We can create something meaningful.

We can help preserve memories.

We can offer resources for the days that follow.

We can help families prepare before the difficult moments arrive.

And most importantly, we can remind people that even in one of life's hardest seasons, they do not have to walk through it alone.

That is why we created EverLili.

To honor life.
To celebrate love.
To preserve what matters.
And to walk beside families through every season of remembrance.
